In the past, Ma Thient Theint Myat used to work as a researcher. Her personal hobbies include traveling, learning about different cultures and creating handmade crafts.
When she was pregnant with her baby, she retired from her life as a NGO worker and she decided to walk the career path of her dreams as creating handmade crafts. After giving birth to her son and while taking care of her child, she started her online business of crochet in 2020. Not only crochet products, she also creates resin products.
Later, she started to have an idea of replacing plastic buttons with coconut buttons. She said, “Coconuts shells are not rare in our country. I decided to try many methods to get it right. My husband also helps me with the production. In October 2021, we were able to produce our finalized coconut buttons and able to start selling on our online business page called “Handmade by Thient”.“
At first, I created buttons and later on I expand my ideas on designing coconut shells earrings.
Because of the detail design, there was a price gap between the machine-made plastic buttons on the market. As a result, it was very difficult to penetrate the market in the beginning. We intend to produce cheaper and better quality products in the future.
Our products are made using real coconut shells and made to be the closest to nature, therefore people who love nature can use it with confidence.
In terms of raw materials, coconut shops only used coconut meats therefore we help protect the environment by using the coconut shells.
On August 23, 2022, she become a member of SheCreates. Now they produce buttons, earrings, lockets, lamp shades, coconut shell oil lamp and more.

သူမရင်သွေးကို ကိုယ်ဝန်ရှိချိန်မှာ NGO မှ အနားယူခဲ့ပြီး၊ သူမ နှစ်သက်တဲ့ လက်မှုပစ္စည်း ပြုလုပ်ခြင်းကို စတင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ၂၀၂၀ မှာ တဖက်က ကလေးကို ပြုစုစောင့်ရှောက်ရင်း၊ သူမ တတ်ကျွမ်းတဲ့ တချောင်းထိုး (crochet) နည်းဖြင့် ပစ္စည်းများ ပြုလုပ်ပြီး အွန်လိုင်းမှ စတင် ရောင်းချခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ရိုင်စင် (resin) နည်းဖြင့်လည်း ပစ္စည်းတွေ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
စျေးကွက်ထဲရှိ ပလတ်စတစ် ကြယ်သီးများ အစား၊ အုန်းကြယ်သီး ပြုလုပ်ကြည့်မယ် ဆိုတဲ့ စိတ်ကူးရခဲ့ပါတယ်။ “ကျွန်မတို့နိုင်ငံမှာ အုန်းခွံဆိုတာ မရှားပါဘူး။ အဲ့အတွက် ရအောင် လုပ်ကြည့်မယ်ဆိုတဲ့ စိတ်နဲ့ နည်းလမ်းများစွာကို စမ်းသပ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ထုတ်လုပ်မှုမှာ အမျိုးသားက ကူညီပေးပါတယ်။ ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်၊ အောက်တိုဘာလမှာတော့ အချောသတ် အုန်းကြယ်သီးလေးများကို “Handmade by Theint” စာမျက်နှာကနေ ထုတ်လုပ် ရောင်းချပါတယ်။
ကနဦးမှာ ကြယ်သီးများ ပြုလုပ်ရင်း၊ သူမကိုယ်တိုင် ဒီဇိုင်းဆွဲတဲ့ အုန်းခွံ နားကပ်၊ နားဆွဲတွေပါ ဆက်လက် ဖန်တီးဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
အသေးစိတ် ပြုလုပ်ရတာကြောင့်၊ စျေးကွက်ထဲက စက်ရိုက် ပလတ်စတစ်ကြယ်သီးများနဲ့ စျေးနှုန်းကွာဟမှု ရှိပါတယ်။ အဲ့အချက်ကြောင့် အစမှာ စျေးကွက် ထိုးဖောက်ဖို့ အလွန် ခက်ခဲခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ရှေ့ဆက်ပြီးတော့ စျေးသက်သာပြီး၊ အရည်သွေးပိုကောင်းအောင် ထုတ်လုပ်ဖို့ကို ရည်ရွယ်ထားပါတယ်။
ထုတ်ကုန်တွေက အုန်းခွံသား အစစ်ကို အသုံးပြု ပြုလုပ်ထားတဲ့ အတွက်၊ သဘာဝကို နှစ်သက်မြတ်နိုးသူတွေ အနေနဲ့ စိတ်ချယုံကြည်စွာ သုံးစွဲနိုင်ပါတယ်။
ကုန်ကြမ်းကို အုန်းဆံ အသုံးပြုပြီး၊ ကျန်နေတဲ့ အုန်းခွံများကို ရယူ အသုံးပြုတဲ့ အတွက်၊ အမှိုက်လျော့ချနိုင်သလို၊ သဘာဝပစ္စည်းကို အသုံးပြုတဲ့အတွက် သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကို အကျိုးရှိစေပါတယ်။
