The first house we aim to visit is Artist Nay Myo Say & Daw Thandar Khin’s house where this artistic abode to seek inspiration for our handmade women creators and witnessing how they had brought the abandoned items back to life promises to ignite creativity in our community.

The next destination on our journey is the GCC Center of Elderly Care, crafted and conceived by the skillful architect Kyaw Linn Su San and her dedicated team of YOURS. Here, we’re invited to discover firsthand the abundant care and compassion woven into every aspect of this center, dedicated to serving the elderly.

Our final destination is Turquoise Mountain, where Myanmar artisans meticulously handcrafted products using exclusively local materials, preserving Myanmar’s rich heritage. These creations are then exported to international markets, providing a window into our creators’ engagement in global trade.

“The Untold Stories” offers a comprehensive full-day tour program. The fee is 15,000 Ks. for SheCreates members and 30,000 Ks. for non-members. A vegetarian lunch box of Wai Wai’s noodle will be provided, and we SheCreates encourage you to bring your own bottle (BYOB). Please note that plastic bottles on the bus are not preferred.

The day’s event includes a in depth panel discussion with speakers from various cultural fields in the morning, and a world cafe (Laphet-yay Circle) discussions in the afternoon.

As part of the SheCreates Week ‘24, SheCreates and its sponsors will also organize an event aimed at linking together small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs, with service providers that can offer valuable support.

In current challenging times, innovative ideas and proactive entrepreneurship needs to be supported and accompanied. With a format similar to that used for ‘speed dating sessions’, service providers/companies will have the opportunity to make brief pitches about their services to the participating SME and potential start-ups.
