Amazing Grace was founded in February 2014. Since then, it becomes a place where women including person with disabilities who had little job opportunities, are trained and employed.
Naw Eh Wah is the founder of Amazing Grace. She has a great passion on handcrafts since she was very young. Making hand crafts was her happiness.
Their main products are necklaces, earrings, keychains, other handmade fashion accessories and weaved baskets using local materials.
“Longyi” is the traditional attire of Myanmar women and they wear them everyday. Longyi are colorful and beautiful with different patterns and designs. She loves longyi very much, so she creates them into fabric beads to make necklaces and earrings. They also use recycled waste products such as old newspapers, magazine papers, soda can tabs to design and produce necklaces and earrings.
The aim is to show the customers that waste products can be reused and changed into beautiful, stylish and good quality products. So we women, let’s support each other and the local products to create a better world for the community.
မနော်အယ်ဝါး ဟာ Amazing Grace Crafts & Workshop ကို တည်ထောင်သူ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ငယ်စဉ်ကတည်းက လက်မှုပညာကိုစိတ်ဝင်စားပြီး လက်မှုပစ္စည်းပြုလုပ်ဖန်တီးရလျှင် ပျော်ရွှင်နေသူတစ်ဦးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
အဓိက ထုတ်ကုန်တွေကတော့ လက်ဖြင့်ပြုလုပ်သော အမျိုးသမီးအသုံးအဆောင်များဖြစ်တဲ့ ဆွဲကြိုး၊နားကပ်၊ လက်ပတ်၊ ကီးချိန်းများနဲ့ ခြင်းတောင်းမျိုးစုံ ရက်လုပ်ခြင်းပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ပြည်တွင်းကထုတ်တဲ့ ကုန်ကြမ်းများကိုအဓိကအသုံးပြုထားပါတယ်။
“လုံချည်”ဟာ မြန်မာအမျိုးသမီး အများစုရဲ့ နေ့စဉ်ဝတ်ဆင်တဲ့ ရိုးရာ အဝတ်အထည်ပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အမျိုးသမီးလုံချည်တွေဟာ အရောင်အသွေးစုံလင်လှပပြီး ဒီဇိုင်းမျိုးစုံရှိတာကို တွေ့ရတယ်။ သူမကလုံချည်တွေကိုမြတ်နိုးတယ်လေ။ ဒါကြောင့် လုံချည်လေးတွေကို ပုတီးလုံးပုံစံလေးတွေ ပြုလုပ်ပြီး ဆွဲကြိုးတွေ၊ နားကပ်တွေ ဖန်တီးဖြစ်တယ်။ နောက်ပြီးပတ်ဝန်းကျင်က အသုံးမလိုလို့ စွန့်ပစ်တော့မယ့်ပစ္စည်းတွေကနေ ဥပမာ သတင်းစာစက္ကူ၊ မဂ္ဂဇင်းစက္ကူနဲ့ အချိုရည်ဘူးခွံအဖုံးတွေကို အသုံးပြုပြီးတော့လည်း ဆွဲကြိုး၊ နားကပ်တွေကိုဖန်တီးထုတ်လုပ်ပါတယ်။
ရည်ရွယ်ချက်ကတော့ စွန့်ပစ်ပစ္စည်းတွေမှတဆင့်အရည်အသွေးပြည့်မှီသော စတိုင်ကျလှပသည့်လက်မှုပစ္စည်းများတီထွင်ဖန်တီးထုတ်လုပ်နိုင်တာကိုဖေါ်ပြလိုခြင်းပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ပြည်တွင်းထုတ်ကုန်ပစ္စည်းများကို ဝယ်ယူအားပေးခြင်းဖြင့် အမျိုးသမီးအချင်းချင်း ကူညီထောက်ပံ့ရင်း ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ လူ့ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်တခုကို ဖန်တီးကြဖို့ ဆန္ဒပြုလိုပါတယ်။
