Chin Ma Lay
Chin Ma Lay (means the lady of Chin ethnic) is established in 2004, by the name of Chin Ma lay in order to sustain a typical Chin Family moving from Chin State to Yangon.
It was started by a couple namely, Pu Zo Zam and Pi Neam Pum Cing (Cing Tuai) along with their daughter, Mai Law Cing, handling the cooperation, products, sewing and designs.
Their core value is to provide affordable, ethical traditional fashions and products by spreading awareness of minority’s rights and cultures.
The fabrics and products are all handmade with traditional looms and weaving techniques. Chin Ma Lay coffee and wine are made purely from non-toxic, natural-grown fruits by local artisans and farmers in Chin State.
Chin Ma Lay started off as a small Chin fabric shop led by women but gradually, the Chin Ma Lay family decided to bring along the other Chin Family who have left their homes in the hills for the sake of their children’s education and livelihoods when there has been unstable incomes and civil-wars and floods going on in Rakhine and Chin states in the past few years.
The couple have worked together with orphanages, environmentalists (for sustainable purposes), hiring them to be the artisans and makers of the products. Chin Ma Lay has been working together with ethnic widows, orphanages, disabled women from all over Myanmar. Chin Ma Lay has collaborated with Chu-Chu Recycle (Myanmar), an environmental organization for environmental sustainability efforts.
ချင်းပြည်နယ်မှ ရန်ကုန်မြို့သို့ ရွေ့ပြောင်းလာကြတဲ့ ချင်းမိသားစုရဲ့ မူလဇစ်မြစ်ကို ထိန်းသိမ်းစောင့်ရှောက်နိုင်ရန်အတွက် ချင်းမလေးဆိုတဲ့ အမှတ်တံဆိပ်ကို ၂၀၀၄ ခုနှစ်မှာ တည်ထောင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ချင်းမလေးကို Pu Zo Zam နှင့် Pi Neam Pum Cing (Cing Tuai) တို့ ဇနီးမောင်နှံနှစ်ဦးက စတင်လုပ်ကိုင်ခဲ့ပြီး၊ သမီးဖြစ်သူ Mai Law Cing မှ လုပ်ငန်းပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်း၊ ထုတ်ကုန်ပစ္စည်း၊ ဒီဇိုင်းနှင့် ချုပ်လုပ်မှုများကို ဆက်လက်တာဝန်ယူ လုပ်ကိုင်နေတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
လူတိုင်းတတ်နိုင်တဲ့ ငွေကြေးပမာဏနဲ့ ဝယ်ယူသုံးစွဲနိုင်တဲ့ တိုင်းရင်းသားရိုးရာဖက်ရှင် ထုတ်ကုန်များကို ထုတ်လုပ်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် လူနည်းစုများရဲ့ အခွင့်အရေးနှင့် ယဉ်ကျေးမှုများကို ပျံနှံ့ သတိပြုမိစေဖို့ဟာ ချင်းမလေးရဲ့ ပင်မစံတန်ဖိုးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ချင်းမလေးရဲ့ ချည်ထည်ထုတ်ကုန်များ အားလုံးဟာ ရိုးရာရက်ကန်း နည်းပညာများနှင့် လက်ဖြင့် ရက်လုပ်ထားတဲ့ လက်ဖြစ် အထည်များ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် ချင်းမလေးကော်ဖီနှင့် ဝိုင်ကို သဘာဝအတိုင်း စိုက်ပျိုးကြီးထွားတဲ့ သီးနှံများကို ချင်းပြည်မှ ကျွမ်းကျင် တောင်ယာ ပညာရှင်များမှ နည်းစနစ်ကျကျ ထုတ်လုပ်ထားပါတယ်။
ချင်းချည်ထည်များ ရောင်းချတဲ့ အရောင်းဆိုင်ငယ် တစ်ခုအဖြစ် စတင်ခဲ့ရာမှ ချင်းမလေးဟာ ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်တစ်ခုကို ချခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အဲဒါကတော့ ကလေးငယ်များရဲ့ စားဝတ်နေရေးနှင့် ပညာရေးအတွက် ချင်းပြည်မှ ထွက်ခွာလာကြတဲ့ ပုံမှန်ဝင်ငွေမရှိတဲ့ မိသားစုများနှင့် စစ်ဘေးသင့်မိသားစုများကို အတူတကွ လက်တွဲခေါ်ကာ အလုပ်အကိုင်အခွင့်အလမ်း ရရှိစေတာပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ချင်းမလေးလုပ်ငန်းကို မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအဝှမ်းရှိ မိဘမရှိသူများ၊ အိမ်ထောင်ဖက်အသက်ဆုံးရှုံးထားသူများနှင့် မသန်စွမ်းသူများအားလုံးနှင့် လက်တွဲဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိပါတယ်။ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ရေရှည်တည်တံ့ဖို့ ကြိုးပမ်း လုပ်ဆောင်လျက်ရှိသော အဖွဲ့အစည်း တစ်ခုဖြစ်တဲ့ Chu-Chu Recycle (Myanmar) နှင့်လည်း ပူးပေါင်း လုပ်ကိုင်ဆောင်ရွက်လျက် ရှိပါတယ်။
