Chu Chu (Kyut Kyut) is the sound of plastic rubbing together, and Myanmar slang for a plastic bag. it is also the name of our earth friendly, social enterprise located in Dala, Yangon.
ChuChu began with help from CESVI. The Italian NGO provided 3 years of training in recycling, design and marketing, and funds to build the ChuChu workshop.
ChuChu sells goods and services to stay economically viable. It creates and sells earth-friendly products from discarded material. It also supports traditional weavers. Many use ChuChu plastic “thread” as part of the weave pattern.
Chu Chu trains and consults in product design and waste management. ChuChu builds earth awareness exhibits and participates with local environmental events.
ChuChu has artisans from Chin, Rakhine and Yangon states. We are open to helping all Myanmar people. ChuChu operates as a tourist destination, which provides economic support for Dala.

“ကြွပ်ကြွပ်” ChuChu ဆိုတာ ပလတ်စတစ်အိတ်တွေ ပွတ်တိုက်မှုကနေ ထွက်လာတဲ့ အသံဖြစ်တယ်။ပလတ်စတစ်အိတ်တွေကို ခေါ်တဲ့ မြန်မာဘန်းစကားပေါ့။ ရန်ကုန်တိုင်းဒေသကြီး၊ ဒလမြို့နယ်မှာ တည်ရှိတဲ့ ကမ္ဘာမြေနှင့် ဂေဟစနစ်ချစ်ခင်သူ လူမှုအကျိုးပြုစီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းရဲ့ အမည်လည်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ကြွပ်ကြွပ်ကို အီတလီ NGOတစ်ခုဖြစ်သော CESVI ၏ အကူအညီဖြင့် စတင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ၎င်းမှ ကြွပ်ကြွပ် အလုပ်ရုံတည်ဆောက်ရန်နှင့် လိုအပ်သော ပြန်လည်အသုံးပြုခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ သင်တန်းများ၊ ဒီဇိုင်း၊ ဈေးကွက်ချဲ့ထွင်ခြင်းနှင့် လိုအပ်သော ငွေကြေးထောက်ပံ့မှုများကို ၃ နှစ်ကြာ ပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ကြွပ်ကြွပ်သည် စီးပွားရေးတစ်ခုအဖြစ် ရပ်တည်နိုင်ရန် ကမ္ဘာမြေကြီးကိုခြိမ်းခြောက်လာတဲ့ စွန့်ပစ်ပစ္စည်းများကို အသုံးပြုပြီး Eco-friendly ပစ္စည်းများကို ထုတ်လုပ်ရောင်းချပါတယ်။ ရိုးရာလက်ရက်ကန်းသမားများကိုလည်း ပံ့ပိုးပေးနေပါတယ်။ကြွပ်ကြွပ်က ပလပ်စတစ်ကို “ချည်”အဖြစ် ရက်ကန်းပညာနှင့် ပေါင်းစပ်ပြီး တီထွင်မှုများလည်း ပြုလုပ်ထားပါတယ်။
ထုတ်ကုန်ဒီဇိုင်းနှင့် အမှိုက်စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှုအတွက် ပညာပေးသင်တန်းများပြုလုပ်လျက်ရှိပြီး ဒေသတွင်း သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ဆိုင်ရာထိန်းသိမ်းရေး အခမ်းအနားများ၊ အသိပညာပေးပြပွဲများတွင်လည်းပူးပေါင်းပါဝင်ပါတယ်။
ကြွပ်ကြွပ်တွင် ချင်း၊ ရခိုင်နှင့် ရန်ကုန်တို့မှ လက်မှုပညာရှင်များ ရှိပါတယ်။ မြန်မာပြည်သူပြည်သားအားလုံးကို ကူညီဖို့ အဆင်သင့်ရှိပါတယ်။ ဒလမြို့နယ်အတွက် နိုင်ငံခြားဝင်ငွေရရှိစေရန် ကြွပ်ကြွပ်အလုပ်ရုံမှာ ကမ္ဘာလှည့်ခရီးသည်များလည်ပတ်ရာနေရာတစ်ခုဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
