Saw Yi’s Authentic Floral Pieces

Floral painting was popular among women, and they wore Pathein parasols and on women’s longyis as a fashion in Myanmar and elsewhere. Saw Yi and the floral painting and parasol couldn’t be separated. His father was a famous floral painter from Bassein. Bassein is a famous for parasol invention and production. He was an expert in floral painting and he once owned a successful parasol business. He was a man of craft and a full-time water-colourist. Here we exhibit his craft work of floral art.

These paintings were produced by Sunflower from 2008 to 2010. There every painting has texture effects on the background surface by Pathein M.M.Thein. He was experimenting with acrylic ground textures on canvas, paper and wood. So Sunflower has those textured surfaces with verity of floral works by Saw Yi. 

ဦးစောရည်၏ ပန်းအလှ ပန်းချီလက်ရာများ

ပန်းပုံများကို မြန်မာ အမျိုးသမီးထမီများနှင့် ထီးများတွင် ပန်းချီဆွဲ ဝတ်ဆင်ကိုင်ဆောင်ကြသည့် ခေတ်တခေတ် ရှိခဲ့သည်။ ဦးစောရည်သည် ထိုခေတ်အခါက ပုသိမ်ထီးလုပ်ငန်းကို အောင်အောင်မြင်မြင် လုပ်ကိုင်ခဲ့ပြီး၊ ကိုယ်တိုင် ထီးပန်းများကို ရေးဆွဲခဲ့သည်။ ပုသိမ်ဇာတိဖြစ်ပြီး၊ ဖခင်မှာ ထီးပန်းရေးဆွဲရာမှာ ထင်ရှားသော ပန်းချီဆရာကြီး တဦးဖြစ်သည်။ သူကိုယ်တိုင် ပုသိမ်ထီးထုတ်လုပ်သည်။ ထီးပန်းရေးသည့် ဦးစောရည်နှင့် ပုသိမ်ထီး၊ ထီးပန်းရေးမှုတို့သည် တွဲဖက်နေသည်။ သူသည် ထီးပန်းသီးသန့် ဆွဲသော ပန်းချီဆရာမဟုတ်ပဲ၊ ရေဆေး၊ ဆီဆေး၊ အခရလစ်ပန်းချီရေးခြင်းဖြင့် အချိန်ပြည့် အသက်မွေးခဲ့သူ ဖြစ်သည်။ ယခု သူ၏ ၂၀၀၈ – ၂၀၁၀ ကာလက ပန်းပုံလက်ရာများကို ပြသမည် ဖြစ်သည်။

ယခုပြပွဲတွင် ပြသမည့် ဦးစောရည်၏ ပန်းပန်းချီကားများကို ဆန်းဖလားဝါး ပန်းချီပြခန်းအနေဖြင့် ၂၀၀၈ – ၂၀၁၀ များတွင် အများအပြား စုဆောင်းခဲ့သည်။ ယင်းပန်းချီကား တချပ်ခြင်းစီ၏ နောက်ခံကို အခဲရယ်လစ် ခံဆေးဖြင့် ပုံစံ အမျိုးမျိုး ဖန်တီးထားမှု အပေါ် ဦးစောရည်၏ ပန်းပန်းချီများ ရေးဆွဲစေခဲ့သည်။ ယင်း အခဲရယ်လစ် အောက်ခံအမျိုးမျိုးကို ပုသိမ်မောင်မောင်သိမ်းမှ စမ်းသပ်ဖန်တီး ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည်။
